What is a STETZERiZER Filter? Graham Stetzer filters help reduce the harmonics from your electrical environment

STETZERiZER® Filter

Stetzerfilter
The STETZERiZER® Filter is based on 100 years of science and power principles. This design focuses on the needs of our customers in homes, offices and schools. The STETZERiZER® filters harmonics and other high frequency current (trash) from the electrical environment, reducing the potential for leakage into the human environment and creating additional trash in non-liner loads (televisions, computers, variable frequency drives, energy-efficient lighting, etc.).

Overview

In a typical alternating current (AC) power line, undesirable pollution often occurs. The effects of transients (electrical surges) and harmonics generated, oscillating at frequencies higher than 60 cycles per second on the power line are prevalent today. This pollution comes from non-linear loads and for example, can be caused by a switched power supply, motors or appliances that send high frequency signals into the line. Nonlinear loads are produced by electronic devices such as computers, printers, switching on and off, capacitors switching off lines to balance loads, trees brushing hydro lines, and faults on circuits. Harmonics are often called electrical noise and produce the humming, buzzing sound around poles and lines, and radio noise heard near electrical power lines. These high frequency signals from harmonics and transients are radiated into your home or office environment.
At 60 Hz the filters act as capacitors and normally marginally improve the power factor of the customer load, which are normally slightly inductive.

Typical Home Installation

Filters are designed to be installed throughout the home in a pattern that corresponds to the distributed nature of the need. For example, installing two filters close to a desktop computer or a television is normally appropriate and effective. Installing filters, normally from two to six, close to the input power panel is recommended to address high frequency currents entering on the power lines. The total number of filters required depends on the size of the home, the amount of electrical equipment, and the quality of the power from the grid. Twenty filters are normally adequate for a “typical” house.
Installing an inadequate number of filters tends to result in overloaded filters, leading to an ineffective solution. The preferred installation method is to be guided by the STETZERiZER® Microsurge Meter, which measures the amount of high frequency energy present. Readings of 30 or lower indicate an acceptable environment, while readings of 50 or higher indicate a need for additional filters. Readings between 30 and 50 are marginally acceptable, but should be reduced if anyone in the area is electrically sensitive.
As referenced in the STETZERiZER® Filter FAQs, a typical home requires about 20 filters before its environment is effectively “cleaned up”. While your home may require a different number than this, we recommend purchasing 20 filters to start. We understand that this may be a substantial investment, but after years of experience, our results speak for themselves.
In order to give you best results, we use the STETZERiZER® Microsurge Meter when we help you install these filters. The filters are available from us.

Inexpensive way to reduce electrosmog while you sleep.

Want to lower your exposure to electrosmog at no cost? Before you go to sleep at night, simply go to your circuit box and turn off the master power to your bedroom. This completely eliminates the live electricity in the walls around you. You'll probably notice the difference! Your health will thank you.

You can cut the power to nearby rooms as well.

Of course, for a more comprehensive solution, we recommend Graham-Stetzer filters.

How to avoid EMF in 5 steps

How to avoid EMF

EMF radiation is like a bombarding sea around us. Modern society includes electricity, computers, mobile & cordless phones, microwaves, etc. They all emit electromagnetic radiation. This radiation has a direct effect on our health and immune system. Following are some practical steps to reduce EMF in your life:

Instructions

  1. Use corded phones. Put away your cordless.
  2. Reduce your use of cell phones, and use your headset. The one that comes with your phone is good, but you can get specially designed headsets for even better protection.
  3. Live as far as possible from high power lines and cell phone towers. Their EMF emmissions are very powerful.
  4. Install Stetzer filters in your home or office. They filter out much of the dirty electricity in your living space.
  5. Have an EMF inspection done in your home and office. This will provide you with comprehensive information on where the EMF is worst and how to reduce your exposure.

Tips

EMF radiation is not easy to stay away from. To avoid EMF radiation entirely, you might have to live far away from the city! In the meantime, follow these 5 tips and reduce the EMF dramatically. Watch your health improve.

About our EMF survey service (EMF home & office inspections) ...

EMF Survey Service - EMF inspection of home or office

We conduct a comprehensive EMF survey service for home and office in the Toronto, Hamilton, Burlington and Niagara regions in Ontario.

If you have health concerns about overhead power lines, mobile phone masts or about the invisible EMFs of your electrical appliances, then this may be for you. Employers may wish to evaluate employee workspaces for Health and Safety purposes. We will identify electromagnetic fields, radio frequencies, and dirty electricity.

For our surveys, we use professional EMF meters to track EMFs to their source. First we will give you a verbal summary of our findings. Then we'll provide the results of the survey in a  written report. It will show the location and intensity of EMFs within the property and give practical steps on how they can be eliminated or avoided at minimal cost. One of the solutions we will recommend is the installation of Graham-Stetzer filters in your place. They filter out much of the dangerous high frequency energy. We're getting reports of health changing results from our clients.

The cost of a survey depends on the complexity of the situation, size of property and distance from our office in Grimsby. Note, we view the GTA (Greater Toronto area) as "local."

EMF surveys start from as little as $300 and neighbouring properties may be able to share the cost of a survey.  Please email us for details and a competitive estimate.

What is EMF?

We live in an invisible ocean of electromagnetic field radiation that constantly bombards us. This radiation is called EMF (Electromagnetic Fields). It can also be called Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR). People are coming forward in increasing numbers with sensitivities to these radiation waves. This condition is often described as ES.

What are the sources of EMF?

The following can cause sensitivities and are potentially harmful long-term:

  • Electrical wiring in home & office
  • Fluorescent lights
  • Computers, monitors and laptops
  • Photocopiers
  • WiFi
  • Cordless and mobile phones
  • Cell Phone towers
  • Televisions

What can you do about it?
