Internet browser, remotely point the telescope to target, select exposure time (this one was 600 seconds), run script. I am sitting in Ontario. The telescope is on a 2200 meter mountain in New Mexico. 5 minutes after I close the shutter, the image is in my hand. I am very happy with my first deep space photograph.
Here is M81, a spiral galaxy in Ursa Major, along with key info about my session, and conditions at the observatory site.
