RT @pinkwhiskers: @thewinebaron what's a good wine for the perfect summer sangria? ---> Given that

Sangria is a Spanish & Potuguese tradition, we should turn to that part of the world for the perfect wine. They use dry, light young wines with a bit of acidity. So a Spanish or Portuguese red with these characteristics will work great. A Gamay will do well also. Enjoy your Sangria! Let me know how it goes.
